See Airfloat in Action at Expo Manufactura 2015
Herramientas AG, the exclusive distributor of Airfloat equipment for the Mexican market, will be an exhibitor at Expo Manufactura 2015 (Feb. 3-5, Monterrey, Mexico). The expo features the latest in manufacturing technology and will attract thousands of professionals from Central and South America. Key industries include metalworking, automotive, aerospace, electrical appliances, medical devices and more.
Visitors of the Herramientas AG display will be invited to push around 500 kilograms (1,100 lbs.) of test weight, by hand, using an Airfloat Utility Platform. Airfloat equipment uses air bearing (or “air caster”) technology to “float” heavy loads on a film of compressed air. Unlike wheels or rollers, Airfloat equipment is virtually friction-free and moves with ease in any lateral direction, making it ideally suited for moving and positioning heavy loads.
Herramientas AG (or “Tools” AG) is a major distributor of electric, pneumatic, hydraulic and manual tools for industry. Based in the city of Chihuahua, AG distributes innovative product from the United States, Canada, Switzerland, South Africa and Germany, including such brands as Milwaukee, Snap-On, Ridgid, and SPX Power Team.
