They all use air caster technology to empower their operators to efficiently and safely float their seating towers or bleachers into position when rearranging their venues. Air Caster technology not only reduces the time it takes to transition between events but it’s also easier on the floors than wheel or caster solutions.
Chicago Shakespeare Theater
The envisioned plan for the venue was to create a space that could be configured for both large and intimate productions alike. We partnered with the seating tower manufacturer to create movable seating towers with built-in air casters.
Quicken Loans Arena
The bleachers at Quicken Loans Arena are moved using Air Platforms with our optional Secondary Lifts. The transporters are located under the stands and travel on concrete runways. They are supplied with compressed air at approximately 13 psi and literally lift the stand section a few millimeters off the concrete runway.
United Center
The Seating Sections at the United Center are moved using Air Platforms with our optional Secondary Lifts. The transporters fit into pockets built into the seating sections. When the secondary lift is activated, the operators at the venue can rapidly reconfigure the arena between basketball games & hockey matches.
