Airfloat Named ‘Made in Illinois’ Featured Manufacturer

Airfloat has been named the Made in Illinois Featured Manufacturer for the week ending September 8, 2012. Non-profit economic development organization IMEC created Made in Illinois to showcase the diversity of products made in the state and to celebrate the companies that manufacture them.

Illinois, according to IMEC, is home to 20,000 manufacturers who employ nearly 600,000 people and generate more than 13.5% of the GDP in Illinois. Furthermore, Illinois manufacturers like Airfloat are a significant driver of innovation and exports, and account for more investments in R&D than any other sector.

Airfloat thanks IMEC for the recognition and for its continuing effort to improve the productivity and competitiveness of Illinois’ small and mid-sized manufacturing firms.
