Airfloat Technology Featured in Manufacturing Yearbook

An article contributed by Airfloat will appear in Motorized Vehicle Manufacturing 2014-2015, published later this month by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). The three-page article, authored by Airfloat marketing manager Gary Mollohan, describes the top 14 applications of air bearing (or “air caster”) technology.

“Airfloat has provided air-bearing material-handling solutions to the automotive and off-highway manufacturing industries for almost 50 years,” says Gary. “During that time, we’ve learned a tremendous amount about which applications are well-suited for air bearings and which are not. The article is a great opportunity to share Airfloat’s decades of experience with thought leaders in these important industries.”

The yearbook will be sent to 30,000 manufacturing executives, business owners and engineers. Another 40,000 digital and mobile copies will be distributed as well.
